Oh New York...
I adore New York City, I really do. But I have to say- for all the millions of people in this city it is seemingly pretty difficult to meet people with whom you share interests and genuinely click with!
Simply meeting people- that's a different story: just step outside your front door and BAM! There's stoop boy, people waiting for the bus or taxi, people congregating outside the corner cafe...but how many of these people are actually friend-material? (My point exactly...)
Anyway, I've been in this city on and off for the last couple years. Though I have made friends in college classes and at work, I find that I am always yearning to meet new people. I began to search for some ideas, and here is the beginning of the list I began...Also- for all you single ladies out there, I found that a lot of links were to articles for meeting men (single, rich, handsome men that is...) So I included these links as well.
Full disclosure: rich and handsome does NOT equal a gentleman, so beware.
